Earpiece ??

    Has anyone used an earpiece? Are they very clear sounding?

    I would be plugging into a cobra HGS500. Looking for a single ear earpiece with no mic function.

    Need to keep the cab quiet for passengers.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Any headphone type earpiece should work just fine. Plug it into the external speaker port on the back of the radio. I've never done it but should work fine. Only problem is you might get feedback into it when you key the mic to talk not sure. Good Luck

    Should be fine, the feedback thing might be an issue, just back your mic gain down if it is. should be alright
