Try SEMO, I have talked to a few of their drivers in day cabs when I pick up at Purina .

FedEx Freight won’t take anyone with an auto restriction and Ground probably requires some weekend work.

    Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

If needing home weekends... Try Dayton, SMIX out of Cape, USF Holland has a small yard in Sikeston as well.

With only 15 months and an auto restriction, not a lot around there will look at you. Maybe Jerry Lipps also in Cape can help you.

Also try Edwards in East Prairie. I worked for George Edwards years ago, Keith is running the company now and seems to be doing good with it.

They used to care about that, but not anymore. We used to have some spares that were still manuals, but all of those have been gone for a couple of years now. Road tests used to be given in those old trucks, because you needed to be able to drive one just in case. Not anymore.

It's still a long shot given your length of experience, but you have nothing to lose in applying and we desperately need drivers all over the system. The requirement is one year so it's possible if your driving record is good. You might try calling the terminal and just asking them if they currently need drivers. I've never been there, but I assume it's a small barn so they might be staffed up. I'm not sure. Worth a call anyway. (573) 472-0145
