Adaptive cruise fault,cruise won't work

I have a 2017 t680. I'm getting adaptive cruise faults. Took it to KW and I need a new radar. $1700 for the part plus labor/programming.

 

Well the mechanic calibrated your brakes. When your brakes are not calibrated, it throw off the sensor n disengage the cruise. If that continue to happen, it will just shut down until they are reset. The best way to address this is to get ur air pressure up to 120 psi, cut the truck off but leave the switch in the on position. Then apply ur brakes really hard and hold them for 10 seconds. That should clear ur codes and reset ur calibration.

 

I have a solution while driving down freeway turn truck off for 4-6 secs turn key back to on position truck will resume to where it was left off turn cruise back on pust set button every 2 sec while wingman/bendix system reboot til cruise is set it works for me 2016 T680 KDubb
