I would put one on and just change the spin on cartridge yearly. But as contaminated as your system is, even after a clean up I would change the cartridge after a few months to really get it dried out.

I think I've been had by the same guy somewhere between North Platte and Cheyenne 2 winters ago. $800 for coolant and a new belt, strait to Billy's moonshine fund.

My gut tells me that I’m wise to do research because it’s my money down the drain if there is no difference. That’s why I asked, that’s why I’m researching. Not really sure what you’re trying to say but perhaps that answers if for you.

My gut definitely tells me that no can of rocks with a little magic dust thrown in is worth $125.

I have always been proactive on maintenance and do things before it needs to be done. Saves me from having issues but on rarest of occasions. But air dryer filters you get what you pay for. I only pay 68.00 for Bendix coalescingfilter spin on. Never heard of them being 168

The Meritor for my truck is $125, not quite 168 but it will probably be in a few minutes. I'm not sure if it's a coalescing one or not. Been on a trip the last week or so and the truck and everywhere I've been have been filthy so I haven't crawled that far under it. My truck has full fairings and it's way up high inside a frame rail.

    What truck do you have?
