"Accidentally" call her at home at 3am a couple times to do a check in when you are done for the night. I can almost guarantee you the calls will stop.
Also, if she does it again, simply text back.. "My elogs will tell you everything you need to know." Can even make it an auto-reply on some phones.
Can a company legally interupt your 10 hour rest period

Anyhoo
hope the poster figured out how to turn his cell phone off.
I worked for a while doing drilling at night at gas stations , evaluating the soil
Contamination from the soil that the drill rig probe pulls up .
I learned fast to turn my cell phone off during the day when I was trying to sleep.
I’d wake up and have 17 missed calls.
Several From my irate supervisor on this project. upset that I didn’t answer the phone when he called.
“dude, it’s the middle of the night for me . You want me calling you at three AM? For some stupid question that can wait till I’m awake ?”
my nephew got a job a few years ago working as the security rider for “secure cargo “ oversize loads, he got 10% of the gross to the truck for staying up all night and watching movies and playing video games and reading books while the driver slept. And he had to call in every three hours, or respond in a timely manner if they pinged the Qualcomm.
I got my first cell phone in 1988. A giant backpack version of the car phone .
when I first started an an o/o we got paid a daily rate and a mileage and stop pay.
And we got $125 for signing up to be on call on saturdays and another $125 for Sunday’s.
And if they needed us, we got the daily rate and mileages and stop pay.
It the kicker was, to get the $125 they would call three random times each day. And if you didn’t answer you didn’t get the $125
That bag phone became my man purse.
Hanging on my shoulder all day, washing the car, taking a shower , out at a Restaraunt whatever.NavigatorWife, alds, slow.rider and 1 other person Thank this. -
I turn my phone off 90% of the time and then turn it on whenever I want to use it. Never any complaining from the company because as they tell me, we have a qualcomm or people net for a reason

If I had to constantly check up on my drivers, including waking them up when they're resting, I'd have to look at what caliber of drivers I was hiring.
Our drivers go home every day but sometimes they're not home very long. They need to get fed, get rested, and get back out and if they only have ten hours to do that they don't want a lot of baby sitting from some insecure office person.
If I can't trust my drivers to do the right thing without me hovering over them I wouldn't want them working for me in the first place.NavigatorWife, Snailexpress, JolliRoger and 8 others Thank this. -
