There is a milk hauler duncan, they have a number of western star trucks, square nose not sure of the model. They are gorgeous trucks, I'd love to drive one... with a Detroit dd15 or dd16 and 18 manual.

If kenworth makes crap I'd sure want to check out another brand

Have heard the quality on the newer ones is hit or miss. 20 years ago you couldn't beat the quality of a Western Star. Solid trucks.

Last Monday, while getting loaded, I was in the dock next to a 2020 w990.
The guy said he is getting a new truck in November, because on this one he spent 26k out of pocket last year and the warranty repair totaled at $144k.
@Midwest Trucker loves KW though, maybe he will chime in

i think when any factory stops building costum, special orders on a one on one basis, off to the side in another area, and builds it on the same assembly line as a fleet, you lose quality control rather quickly.

take Bently, Rolls Royce, Marmon as only 3 known examples of finley built machinery that the quality was superb in every way, and actually warranting the prices one pays.

now a days, "get the darned thing built and outta here" is the mantra of ANY motor vehicle on ANY assembly lines, these days

My wife's car is a 1997 grand prix SE. Gorgeous condition. Has the 3800 normally aspirated. 39k on it. No car payments. I can fix them myself, the 3800 is dead nuts reliable

before i started driving, i worked in a garage. fixing for me is no problem. comes a time as we age, we just do not want to do anything more than we have to.

you will see this to be true, when you get older.
