Bought the truck, built a small shop in the back of it and have been busy as hell. So far I've had the normal problem of having to replace the fuse holders in the battery box, I had to replace the high pressure oil hose to the head when it sprung a leak about a year ago (on a customer's property of course) and I had to replace the water pump last week. Those are the only issues I've had. I don't mind working out of it, it rains a lot here so it makes parts of certain jobs easier plus it has a lift gate. I do miss running a service truck with a crane though. I swapped a Mack granite radiator yesterday without one....that was fun.

Please excuse me for not going back to see the dates of the posts.
If there is any oil and or additives that might help with the cam deal I would use it. Since you do not have morons driving up against the governor all the time it maybe OK. Best of luck Mr Wrench.
