im currently attending truck school in california, as of right now gordon and werner have rejected me because of a speeding ticket in august that i went to traffic school for, who else wont hire a student right out of school due to this, and what schools will give me a chance, this is the only ticket on my record btw. i want to apply to covanant but dont want to waste my time if they will reject me too.

Does the ticket show up on your MVR (run a license check on yourself). Was it for more than 5 mph over the limit ? Companies have really tightened requirements. Give us MORE info, thanks.

I've been told that none of those big companies will hire if there's a violation within the last 6 months.

Yendor--You are dead wrong......Goongrinch--You may be in for a 32 month wait, that's a bad ticket for trucking companies. Good Luck !!
