I'm thinking that someone needs to remind the idiots in the office that are pushing these drivers of that. No way it's coincidence that all of them just happen to drive like this.

They look like good candidates for EOBR's . I agree carriers like this should require them . I don't think they should be mandated for everyone .

Today was weird, I think someone heard me. I was passing fedex trucks all day long, they were all running slower even though the pavement was dry and it was above freezing. Maybe they sent out a memo. Then again, maybe it's a sign of the apocalypse.

I don't know what it is with fed-ex, but of all the doubles out there it seems to me like they are the leaders in unsafe acts. They are the ones that will barely pass a truck and whip right over in front of them. I think they need to turn them trucks down another 5 mph to keep them from passing the slow trucks.

Why is it that a contractor based co has such drivers? Are they mostly owners that just puts a driver behind the wheel? I would think that an O/O would be more professional.

A Fed Ex contractor around here wanted me to run two runs a night, do all couplings and uncouplings, fuel truck, all which would take around 10 - 11 hours per night, if the freight was ready.

No ins, no bennies, paid with 1099, $500.00 per week. This was about four years ago when pay was better, and jobs were easy to come by. I did turn him down. People that will work like that is what is driving some of their trucks
