The white KW in the middle is a JDT truck, their website is currently being upgraded so I had to rob a pic off Instagram.

Can't help ya out west but in pa this company Spencer runs really nice old iron. Pete and KW's all rebuilt from the ground up. Don't think they have any new emission trucks in their fleet. Above avg pay. One of my dad's friends works there and plans on retiring from there

I used to lease onto RAM when I was in Oregon. A lot of the O/O run hoods. You maybe lucky enough to find someone looking for a driver who is leased onto them. JZ trucking out of Jefferson OR has a few nice hoods as well. I used to haul for them occasionally from the ports.

They don't have fast trucks anymore, but they do still have big motors, I think they are topped at 72 mph now, and even then that's only a few of the trucks. Pay is so/so even for people with exp., still very hard to get on with.

Wages should be going up with minimum wage going up and the cost of living going insane.

I've already heard a couple companies giving out some nice raises.

Local construction has gone up too.

Our local Walmart is STARTING people at $17/hour. Can't find anyone. Our little town (pop. 5,000) has a small newspaper, with 4 pages of jobs, every aspect covered, from healthcare to construction, some in the $20/hour range, can't find anyone. I was offered a couple trucking/ machinery op jobs, I was watching this guy go from the roller, to the bobcat, to the dump truck, I said, what gives, you a one man show? Turns out , HE WAS THE BOSS, said he had an ad all last summer, NOT ONE APPLICANT, he wanted to hire me on the spot. Naturally, I said, flattered, but I'm retired. With 4 figure rent and $25 bags of groceries, people aren't even bothering with work. They had an ad for a police officer, starting wage, $47g's,,,really? You can drive a Swift truck for that. Risking your life in LEO, should make twice that, so the moral of the story here is, well, I guess there is no moral these days..
