Bought my truck in Saylorsburg PA. Went over to the local DMV office there with the title, insurance card and a bill of sale and they gave me a temp tag to drive it home to NY.

    zaroba and NCTru919 Thank this.

Why would anybody cross a scale with a truck that was just bought.. Especially if your bobtailing.. ???... Your just asking for problems...
There's aways a way from point A to point B .. with out rolling across the scale
You can talk to every DMV you want but there is no guarantee their answer is gonna be the gospel truth

Insurance and bill of sale is all that's needed. If they pull you in they just want you to buy a trip permit from my experience.

    NCTru919 Thanks this.
