The other day while I was driving, "Baker Street" came to mind for no apparent reason, and I kept thinking, "Yeah, but what was that other one he did that they always useta play on the radio?"........

Could not for the life of me remember the song, and never thought to look it up when I stopped driving.


Had an FM converter in my '74 Corolla Wagon after this song came out, and the world by the balls. Or at least I THOUGHT so. Good times.

Times are still pretty good, just different, I guess. End of ramble.

Gotta hit the rack and leave time to make my dinner before I go. BTW the Missus reached Boston safely. That's my girl!

Well, I was up a total of 37 hrs. Still didn’t go to sleep till 4:00 am. Just woke up. Slept too long. So much for the all night tactic. Kinda backfired on me. Congratulations to anyone who can stick it out and make it work. It’s definitely a choice. Much easier sometimes to just give up. Seen plenty of that, my Parents were married total of 8 times between the two of them. I still don’t understand it. Each time, the same problems would return. He liked to drink, she liked to gamble. They’d have been better off, working things out, and avoided a lot of other problems, for themselves and everyone else affected. We’re celebrating 31 yrs. 2 weeks. 41 yrs. together. Took me 10 yrs. to be convinced enough to get married. Had to make sure She was dedicated. It’s a wonder she stuck around. Lol.
