Honestly I can't remember how I was paid for training, but I'm certain the hotel wasn't part of it, besides being free. My training was pre-covid, so they flew us to Bentonville and wined and dined us for the week.
After that, for my week of on the job training I was paid as if I was a solo driver. Mileage, stop pay, etc. My trainer got his ADP.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
Paid for being at the DC, 40hr workweek. They feed you breakfast & lunch & then pay for your dinner $20 or less. Save your receipts & then turn them in to your HR manager. They pay for the Hotel too.
The only regret you will have is not applying here many years ago!!
I was at Laurens back in February.mattbh23 and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
Oh, they pay your mileage too from your home to the Onboarding DC & back home.truckdriver31 Thanks this.

I think wal mart is probably a pretty good job for those that can deal with slip seating and micro management .
Also good job for someone with a family that needs predictable home time .
Wouldn't be my cup of tea tho ..truckdriver31 and T.Rucker Thank this.
