Speed sensor in trans tail shaft. mine thru all kinds of codes,

Sid 5 is cylinder #2
-
Fmi 5 may be a short to ground on #2 injector. The i denotes a short. You obviously know much more than I do, but that’s how I read it, from the manual. Fmi 3 is # 3 cylinder.

yeah guys I've had it open about ten time pulled the ecm/ecu off the block checked all terminals the code has been all over the place but always the same response time to long but its been Sid 2, Sid 3, Sid 4 and Sid 5 most consistently Sid 3 then i changed the outer harness for intake manifold, crank shaft sensor, etc..
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I know you said you checked the alternator ground. The manual also suggests disconnecting the alternator, to see if the codes go away.
