What do you spend your money on?

I have always been frugal,,just necessities,,only luxuries are a hot rod, boat and motor home.
Maybe should take up gardening,,,grows like a weed ya know.. Helps having honest neighbours

 

That's my retirement plan right there.

 

Mainly food. But I also seek out a nice toy or something every so often. I'm kind of in the middle of a "should I finally leave the small town life and jump over to a big city for a better job" point in my life and would like to save up some more money to make that whole thing a soft landing.

That said, a part from a cat, I really don't spend my money on anyone else but myself. And with social skills that have everyone running away from me, or sicking the dogs on me, I won't have anyone in the future either. So ultimately, I could envision myself being that creepy old guy that just sits on the porch of a house that only looks old because I let it fall into a ruin.(this house was built in 2040, and it looks like it's from the 1840s!!)

Investments and real estate. There's no substitute for having a stack of cash.

When you have a $100K in cash available to you, that's when you're broke, and have no money.
