From what I understand when Freightliner gets that shake it means that at least one tire is out of balance. Was your Rim damaged at all?
When you had the tires replaced did they use balancing beads or something else to balance the tires? -
Rims look fine,They used that wheel balancing machine. My next step was to put a new rims on there just in case and see what happens from there. My cab is shaking as well with my steering wheel and it’s pulling me to the right I had an Alignment done as well.

Tire out of round, or out of balance. If the steering wheel shimmies back and forth, it is a steer tire. Wheels can be balanced, but not spinning true and be out of round to cause the shake/bounce. Need to jack up the axle, and spin the wheels as fast as you can and watch the top of the tire to see if it going up and down as it spins to show it is out of round. This can be caused by a bad tire to rim mount, or sometimes the wheel is not perfectly centered on the hub.
Caterpillar Cowboy and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
I’m not 100% but I think I’ve heard there is a mark also on tires that is supposed to be mounted opposite of the air stem??

Truck tires are not nearly as true as most folks would thank. About 1/8 inch out of round is probably pretty common and not a problem.Heavyd Thanks this. -
Yeah, the last shop I worked at had a great wheel spinner made by Hunter that could get the wheel up to highway speeds. I would pick out the stones and then spin her up and bring a tire crayon very close the tire tread surface so only the high spot would get marked. Stop the tire, relocate your high spot, loosen the wheel nuts, let it sink down and retry. This would cure 90% of shakes literally the first time.
