    Hello,
I'm trying to figure somethings out about the 06 Cat mxs52321 from what caterpillar tells me it is rated at 475hp . Is there any engine parts difference between a 06 Cat mxs C15 rated @475hp and a 06 Cat C15 rated @ 550hp ? as in hard parts like head , pistons , cam , turbos ,injectors ect . Or is everything to do with the rating in the tune ? I'm new to the electronic computer controlled Engines . Trying to learn I'm use to my other engine which is a 3406C mechanical . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    More than likely just programming.

IMO don't get a re-rate from Caterpillar, they'll put the low NOx program in and it'll probably not gain much performance.
