    This is true...
I can't imagine running my Pete and spread in an old Euro city.....
It's hard enough running a spread through Dallas and Seattle....:biggrin_25523:

I guess I'll count myself lucky, I never have to go IN to Dallas. Just pass it on 20 or 35E. :)

That is thanks to California, not Europe. Austria just copied the emissions laws from there.

If I compare same age US and Euro trucks used in Europe, US trucks are always in very bad condition, only mechanical engines and drive lines are still ok, everything else is finished. I think I don't even have to tell you about Cat ACERT dpf..

What was he doing in the alley in the first place, oh it's Europe he probably had to stop for tea & crumpets. :biggrin_2559: And I'm sure that was a wide street by their standards since their stuck in the 18th century. Funny how the liberals like to act as if the Europeans are so much more civilized than the US but keep in mind, most of Venice Italy still dumps their sewage directly into the canals. It's almost 2010 people, can you stop peeing in the river, your city stinks.:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25522:

No way my Pete and spread could do that.....
But I'd like to see that rig go to the "Right-of-Ways" on a pipeline job...No way that rig could handle that run.....:biggrin_2559:

Only NAFTA trucks.....Mexico has been fighting CVSA rules and CARB...
Canada on the other hand...has been very compliant....
Mechanical engines (Pre '92) are not supposed to even be on the road in Cali....except for again...the NAFTA trucks...because they're "Special"....

I was comparing the condition of very old and used trucks, that way you know what is reliable and what is not.

A "right-of-way" is supposed to be a graded road..and by "graded"...I mean cut by a blade or a loader.....
Most of those jobs, you're driving in sand 2' deep.....
I have seen the NAFTA truckers with their Freightshakers getting stuck in the sand and the mud.....friggin' hilarious....Their trucks were designed for city driving......
Some of those "Right-of-ways" also have 1-1 falls on the grades....not for the faint of heart...especially in the snow.......
