When I was a kid , we only ate what we grew in the garden, caught out of the river, shot, or butchered, Cast iron skillet on a wood stove, always had an inch of lard in it. Bacon was from a slab, We didn't eat everything, but I knew people who did, lived to be a hundred, house full of kids.Thats country.

 

Yep. Sometimes by choice, sometimes just out of necessity

 

Did you not have any farm raised chickens?
I had a hard time going from farm eggs to commercial eggs..

 

Chickens, cows. Fresh milk, made butter. Milked a small herd. Sold the milk to cheese plant.

 

I’ve seen every episode of the BBC Top Gear with those guys on it and it is very entertaining. Those three people had the perfect chemistry.

Mrs Roundhouse cares nothing about cars but loves to watch those episodes just for the laughs.

 

Did you know that not wanting to live next to an apartment building is racist?

that wanting to own a house on some land so you have some space and privacy is racist ?

now you know .
They’ve ruined their cities and now they want to come ruin the suburbs and rural areas .

 

Pointing out their hypocrisy is also racist.
