I don't haul freight but I once had an excavator final drive in the back of my service truck worth about $200k.

I used to work in pharmaceutical distribution, and we had a 53 ft trailer that we sent out every night which was usually around $6 million. That had a mix of over the counter in there too....pure rx loads from the manufacturer might have been more.

Opioids are typically very cheap wholesale, and of course go way up in value if they hit the streets. If they are stolen/lost at the warehouse or in transit, the distributor is fined by the pill if it is a scheduled substance.

We usually kept about $300 million in inventory at the warehouse. It made it kind of spooky to be the one that had to lock up at the end of the shift. I had an emergency clicker lanyard I wore on me that called the police, but that was little reassurance lol.

    JoeyJunk and dwells40 Thank this.

I have no idea what it was valued at but I hauled a load of handguns made in Germany that were flown to the airport in Syracuse NY. Picked up at the customs warehouse and delivered to the arms wholesaler I worked for.
