Leave em hang outside for 2 or 3 days on the clothes line, (if you have one, LOL), or any other apparatus, if it rains even better, a little time to air out does wonders, you won't even have to add anything special, just regular laundry detergent.

Lol..... I’ve heard folks complain about older Harley’s as far as keeping them running. One of my first Harley’s was a Ironhead, many said good luck keeping oil in it, it will mark its spot everywhere you park it lol......

Fact of the matter is though, many that complained didn’t know as much as they let on. Earlier bikes oiled the rear chain with engine oil, so yea it would leave a spot when parked, and ya had to keep check on the oil, 2F3CE91A-0A67-4700-AA4D-B69E504C702A.jpeg AA251163-6B2E-4794-8A9B-91E8A4765A3C.jpeg 7FC1CC54-D717-419D-A41D-E4ECC3D32C90.jpeg hell even I still have a old old shirt with oil specks up the back of it ;).

By disabling the chain Oiler and running a O-ring chain, that “oil spot” basically disappeared.

And of course like many older machines, those Shovels, Pans, Ironheads all needed a certain amount of attention on a regular basis, not a machine for a guy who can’t put a cob handle on a file for sure. When I met my now wife, my Shovelhead was parked in my home while I was on the road, on carpet actually. Regular tuneup and all around inspection was needed for shovels and such, well worth the time though......:)

I like the red square body in that one picture. Best era for pickup trucks IMO.

All that comes of that is you end up dead or in jail, neither of which helps your family.

Who would be the target anyway? The people that are creating this situation are protected. And you don’t have enough fire power anyway. Besides, there have been runs on banks before and nobody did anything when the banks screwed people over.....unless you count John Dillinger and Jesse James......interestingly, both those guys were the product of bad economic times...one after the American civil war and the other during the Great Depression.

And while we’re talking about wealth confiscation, don’t forget FDR confiscated all the people’s gold in 1933.....the people complied without a whimper. And today the govt is setting an “average” CPI inflation target of 4% which amounts to them confiscating 4% of your wealth every year...even though we all know true price inflation is well over 10%.

This isn’t exactly new territory we’re in....history may not repeat but it rhymes. In 2014 the G20 countries legalized “bank bail Ins” allowing banks to confiscate checking accounts to keep them from going bankrupt in a crash. Just recently they revised it to include savings accounts. Lots of stuff going on behind the scenes.

Thanks @Rocks. Very important IMO what you said about having other assets. Did you have some precious metals? Do you see similarities between the early stages of the Brazil crash and what we’re seeing here in North America today? We might want to think about the ratio of fiat currency to hard assets that we’re holding.

Great video and awesome trails. I could almost smell those cut blocks. I've ridden Kimberly ski hill, and silverstar a few times, definitely not as nice as where you were. Spent the last bit reading about the hiking trails in that area. Instead of driving by I will be checking them out. Thanks.

    Looking really sinister, Redbeard.
Went riding the last two days with a couple gents.

One was a gent in his late 40s who recently got divorced, and bought a motorcycle. Wife wouldn’t let him have a motorcycle, or a gun or toys. He points fingers at her, but can’t figure out what he did wrong.
The other is a young man, driver, new to motorcycles.
We were riding the the hills and narrow roads and saw a guy pushing his motorcycle on a narrow shoulderless mountain road. We stopped and checked on him. He had pulled over into a little pull off but now couldn’t start his bike. He had friends that just left to get a trailer. They were amazed when I push started the bike. “Hurry up and catch your buddies, friend.”

Went to the pub and sat out on the balcony like I normally do. Cute waitress runs out to hug my neck. A couple of my young military friends show up, and the war stories began. A rider pulls up and gets off the bike. Female. Everyone gets silent. I smile. Love to see this happen. Helmet comes off, long jet black hair. Strikingly beautiful. Muscular body, powerful stride. Tatted up. Tattered clothes. Trucker by trade. Looks like she was turning wrenches and got frustrated and got on the bike to get a beer. Walks in like she owns the place and lights a cigar, “TripleSix!”

If WonderWoman was a post apocalyptic biker, she would look like this girl. Funny as hell to see the reactions. Everyone is trying decide what to think. If you asked any of them about her, they would all tell you what they don’t like. Never what they do. And they do.

I shall have to write a chapter in the Book about dealing with WonderWomen.
