Food and car crashes aren't contagious. Lots of covid survivors are left with permanent organ damage. And the reason the survival rate of this pandemic seems artificially low compared to historical examples is because this is the first time in the history of the world that people without symptoms were routinely tested for one. Even so, covid was still the #3 cause of death in the USA in 2020 despite not killing anyone during the first two months of the year - and as far as contagious causes of death, it blew all the others right out of the water, ranking #1 by miles.

Nope, I posted an article that fully explains both sides - the opposite of the type of fake news you're apparently accustomed to. And if you read thru to the end, you'll find that the few "studies" were sorely lacking, and the authors of the review of them are disappointed that their work has been twisted into a foil for the political right to argue against vaccinations.

 

Here's an analogy for you. Say you find a gun on the ground. A reasonable person would not pointed at their head and pull the trigger. They likely wouldn't do so even after checking. The concern over the Delta variant was like finding a gun on the ground and telling people not to point it at their head and pull the trigger. You didn't have the information to know whether the gun was loaded or not yet.
