Sure, but as good as I am at slinking around in the shadows of the night, one still has to prepare in case some lucky swine gets me with a stake. I mean, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.

Unless a company hands you a credit card and says "you're allowed to spend "X" amount a day for meals", per diem isn't even worth claiming.

Here’s what I know: my paycheck has $150 more in it than it would if I wasn’t taking 33% of my pay as per diem. That’s $7,800 more in my pocket a year. I already have a mortgage, and I’ve been paying into social security and Medicare for over 40 years, so really, what possible downside is there?
Muskie Thanks this.
