No problem. I run the same size fridge off a 1500w inverter. A 1000w would probably work. My 1500 will also run a coffee pot, it’s just powerful enough. Won’t run both though. I have to unplug the fridge, when making coffee. Make sure you have thick enough wires, and a fuse or circuit breaker at the battery. 2500w should have a 250amp maxi fuse or similar breaker at the battery, between battery and positive cable. Keep wires from battery to inverter short as possible. Longer and thicker the wires, more juice drawn, and lost along the way. It will probably run a small microwave, while running the fridge. Might have to run the Truck while using micro, to keep from draining batteries. Might be best, even if the low voltage alarm on inverter doesn’t go off, for the batteries sake. It’s all new to me. Still learning. Just the basics here. From what I hear 3000w is plenty for anything. 2500w should be just fine.

The compressor motor will also function better and run cooler on a PURE sine wave inverter, instead of a modified wave inverter.

I used to unplug my fridge before I went to sleep. As long as the door seals it wasn’t a problem, stayed pretty cold. If I was gonna leave food in it during my 34 hour reset, I’d buy a bag of ice and put it in there.

These units have no compressor so they only draw 65watts and make no noise

I’ve ran a 120v student fridge for three years now on a 2500 watt pure sine wave inverter. Still working good.
We have some rough roads here in Saskatchewan , I removed the passenger seat and strapped down the fridge to the seat mounts. I hear it rattle sometimes but it keeps working.
It was only a $99 fridge, vibration is not an issue if it’s tied down right.
