Yeah, they were the older guide guns. I just got bored with them. The browning was a 22. I didn't like it because when you ####ed it, the trigger came with. Just felt weird. At that point in life I likes it because it fitnin a scabbard and I could blast Prarie dogs with it from horse back. Got tired of loading it, so I went back to a 10/22 for such things. I've always been an iron sight guy. My carry guns have irons, but I'm coming around to optics there aswell. Just quicker and easier. I once dropped my cz in the parking lot and shot a whole stage with no irons and still did fairly well. That was just muscle memory though. The new red dots are wicked nice and small and light. Plus batteries last forever. I'm slowly coming around. If you see red dots on my wheel guns, you know I'm not well.

I’m gonna buy a custom barrel with a picatinny rail on it as a single piece for my 38 Smith and put an optic on it, it’s not a cowboy gun hehehe
