You're right, they should in theory. Conventional wisdom says that for me too, but people make opinions and decisions based on what impacts their personal interests. If covid hadn't forced a lockdown, "attacked our freedoms," we aren't having this discussion.

 

Fauci was appointed head of NAID in 1984. Trump had nothing to do with it.

 

When we are 30 trillion in debt, the conservative in me says no way.

But the realist in me says "what the hell difference does it make?" The country is never gonna pay any of it back, and our kids are left to pick up the pieces.
