you’ll never be able to eat a onion ring again

 

I also hate ####ing onions, ####. I took a load a month or so ago from California to NY and #### those little bulbus ########.

 

Picture this: Laredo. August. 105+ degrees at 3pm. Fat truck driver with 1 month flatbed experience coming from a decade with dry van.

I struggled so hard with them onions my dude I swear I won’t ever do it again. My friend said “oh just walk on them it’s easy” yeah, no. Even doing my best, after 3+ hours or so, I made it all the way to NYC with around 10 bags stuffed in my trailer box and dunnage rack.

 

I got a load outta Clovis Nm going to Lakeland FLA.Was an Arse pain but paid very well.

 

I was going to do onions after I unload on Friday, but the hate they get on this forum is scaring me away. Does anyone do onion loads if its their choice?

 

That's a good price going W to E. I'd take it, despite onions being a pain in the ###.

 

If I’m gonna haul corn it’s gonna be by the bushel in a high side hopper. Load heavy ride fast

 

I did one just to do it. If I did it again, I would make sure to have 2x's for the middle of the front and rear pallets. My pallets broke in the middle with the ends up on 4x4's. A set of pallets made me nervous on day 3, but looking at my loading pictures, they had a little lean to begin with. Make sure they are straight before you leave - they don't get any better on the ride lol.

 

There's gotta be 50 or 60 YouTube videos about onion hauling... why you gotta pick the only one in Portuguese that nobody can understand? LMAO

 

Well, because I speak Portuguese and I like to watch his videos and I thought that was gonna be useful to someone. You can change the subtitles to English.
