    Hi all!

I just bought a 2011 Cascadia and am thinking about removing the lower fairings as they are in rough shape. I'm wanting to replace them with aluminum steps below the doors, and step/toolboxs behind the fuel tanks.
Behind the fuel tanks is easy, I'm trying to figure out what to do below the doors though.
These are the two options I've found for the driver's side so far to cover the battery box.

I was wondering if any of you have had experience with either of these, and perhaps better pictures?

I'm open to any other ideas also!
