Pros and Cons of Car Hauling

I'd be happy to talk you out of it. If you are planning a job in transportation, don't stop halfway at car hauling, it's a crappy job, and here's some reasons I learned from a recent shipping encounter. 1st, there are good car hauling jobs, none a new driver would see. New cars,,oops I mean trucks to dealers has to be the graviest job, just try and find one. These smaller outfits, I'll never use again. Horror stories of damage, delays, even lost cars altogether, not to mention the price, has many thinking, heck, I'll just drive the dang car. Many times, the cars go into a "pool" and get sorted out to someone "going that way", one car to the boonies doesn't pay. Flat tires, dead ( or missing) batteries, people that don't show up, and the car you need to get, is 4 rows in, and none of them start just the beginning. People shipping cars are generally not from the best parts of town either. A weapon would be mandatory.
I say, go for a better job, car hauling that you speak of is a tough job and doesn't pay much. If you are doing it once, go for bigger things like tractor trailer. THAT'S where the future is, not in cars. Failure is costly today. Good luck.
