I read the comments just to see if any trucker would actually answer the simple question he ask, and I wasn't disappointed, only one person answered it sort of. Yes he was right about how to do it, but not for 8 days.
So I'll ask it in a different way.
How can you tell what recaps your getting back 2,3,4, days ahead? I'll call my dispatcher and he will tell me in like three seconds, so I know he's not doing the math, so I ask him where is he getting it from and he said that he reads it off the peoplenet website, on his desktop, and I say desktop
Because the phone will not show it for some reason.
He just logs in and there it is.
7 amd 8 days ahead . So I tried it on my laptop and it wasn't there, for some reason people net thought it was a good idea to give the dispatcher side a different program than what the trucker side has. The dispatcher side has way more details, don't ask me why I don't know, but I think it's funny business. When I do the math on my recaps, I'll come up with something like, this...
I'll get 8.5 back tomorrow and 7 back the next day and 5.4 the next day..... so on amd so forth
However after driving all my time out that day, expecting I'm getting only 8.5 back ,low and behold I get 10 or 11, and I'm scratching my head, redo the math , everything checks out and low and behold the next day I get even more back again, my company can keep me on recaps indefinitely.
    Please explain whats happening

    Snow Hater Thanks this.

I’m sticking with my original answer. Options, cycle duty summery. You have to do a little math by adding drive time plus on duty time for each day individually.

when looking at the 8 day summary, the far left day is what you get back tomorrow, the next day the right is the day after that, ect.

this works, I do it all the time.
