I will never put it in writing. Too many eyes from the wrong interested parties.

Denver to Houston and back, 50 hrs including unloading in Houston and reloading in Ennis. Well, I guess it wasn't totally without sleep, I did get a 45 minute nap while waiting in line to load in Ennis.

Got stuck in Little America in WY after a big snow storm on a friday night, was my load home and was due in Eagan MN by 1pm monday. Left there sunday afternoon right after they lifted the road closed word. Stopped for fuel in Rapid City fixed the logs to make it look legal, showed a 10 hour break there and showed driving after my "pti and fuel" at 11pm there. Got into eagan at like 1 I think, I stopped for a hour nap at the mn line. All in all it was 1096 miles and it took me about 19 hours. Got to eagan and had to take a 10 there cause I couldnt fudge the log anymore and I needed the sleep. Would never do it again but I had a way to make the log book look legal considering I was sitting in WY since friday night, I just showed my first driving stretch on saturday and sunday and the rest of it on monday. Never heard a peep from the log dept either. But I do remember seeing a few of them black dogs when I was running across SD, man what a boring drive and in the wee hours of the morning. I dont think I saw one vehice until I hit sioux falls.

In Canada we can run 13 hours so driving 800 miles is no big deal, I have many times driven 1000 miles or more, I used to run Montreal to Atlanta in one shot all the time because I wanted to stay an extra day at home.

I am sure that the government officials are reading this and justifiying electronic logs.

when i was with swift, there were a few times where i did between 630 miles and 700 within the 11hrs of driving. i did it without stopping for anything. not even to take a leak. this was all done overnight, too, so traffic wasn't an issue at all.
