Theres a guy out here thats so predictable. He parks half a mile west of exit 96 right over a hill on i90... theres an abandoned weigh station 2 miles west of that. Finds a truck he wants and follows them then lights u up so u pull into the scale and he gives you inspection. I mean just ridiculous. He is there every single morning, and has a truck pulled over. He got me once. Now i wave at him as i go past him on the #### frontage road

The unveiling from last week. If theyd just put it in a shorter crate it wouldn't have been over height,, oh well. And naturally i delivered it straight to the factory floor. Backing when you cant see your tail, not so recommend. Rolled my 100ft tape out to give a point of reference. And tell where the door was without seeing it.
Way to much excitement on this move. Breakdown caused me to go past a construction deadline. Put it through a 12 wide restriction with 2 inches on each side. Got to the last 3 barriers they were kicked out my way and i had to have the crew move it while i was shutting down a 2 lane in both directions blocking the one lane construction section. To be clear, I was cleared to go down the restriction anyway after asking about the deadline. Followed by more forgiving but no less tense 12 wide restrictions.
Then the going through small towns in MN where i did just barley clear the wires, but not the lights, so i had to do some sketchy stuff to weave it through or around the lights themselves.
And also a quick load to finish off the week, little roller compactor. Oh boy does it shake your bones when that thing drops off the end of the trailer.
Week and a half till i take my time off.

Nothing too exciting lately, all legal loads.
Took this little guy from Arkansas to Maine then Vermont. It’s a demo truck for Kenworths updated medium duty line.
These little ones are a pain to load on our trailers because of the low ground clearance. Even with ramps.
Then I took this old Superliner a few hundred miles, once running it will head out on a boat to Haiti.
Legal load of aluminum to Wichita.
Elevator parts to California. It’s a bit toasty out here. -
I borrowed a trailer a few weeks ago that had a more similar ramp style to that. It can be a pain.
My trailer that I actually pull all the time it is a little more forgiving but still have ground clearance issues when something has all of its skirts and whatnot. Then it gets fun.JonJon78, Lostkeys, shooter19802003 and 5 others Thank this. -
More stupid crap...4 loads going 3 ish miles away. LOL
