It seems like I'm being a lot of aluminum coils that pay decent $ but I only have 2 big tarps. So I'm looking at buying a couple of coil bags.
What should I buy and how many....

Depends on how many coils you pull at a time.
    1 coil, 1 coil tarp.
    2 coils, 2 tarps.

FYI... Coils and flat steel pay on the low side of flatbed work.

The loads of aluminum coils paid over $2.50 pm and weren't heavy i thought that was ok.

    1 Conestoga.

What issues are you having? Is one tarp too short to cover the coils, or is the drop too long and a pain to deal with?

I think coils bags are nice if you have only one coil. The time it takes for two or three is the same for a standard tarp. or a standard tarp and a "smoke tarp" to cover an end.

Some of my best/better paying loads have been coils. What size tarps are you currently carrying?

Standard of the shelf coil bags at say tarpstop run about 200-250$, theyre sized a little small, so they SAY its a 6 foot bag, but in reality its closer to 5.5 feet. Both in width and height.

I like it, but its really only good for suicide coils (STEEL) to roughly 48k
And shotgun about 42k, large single aluminum coils in my experience are either wider or taller than properly fits in the bag, BUT if youre doing 2x aluminum coils and its still light, it may be worth a shot. At least measure the width and diameter of the coils and make sure youre not over 5.5 feet in either direction

    I have 2 20x26 with a 6x8 flap if I load 1 coil that would be a PINA...
If I load 2 coils wich is what I'm seeing being aluminum 1 tarp probably wouldn't work. So I'm looking at buying 2 tarp bags for aluminum coils.
