I applied to a few ready mix places but never heard anything back. If you know some companies just let me know. I'm not proficient in driving manual but I know enough to get around.

Also no... I live in Nova Scotia, built my own home, by a lake with 2 acres. Reasonably. I only have to suffer GTA every second week.

Ok I guess I have to spell it out for you.The guy lives in Niagara Falls NY where you can buy a house for 100 grand or less but he makes as much or more than a lot of drivers who live in gta where houses cost a million.Capeesh?

Day 3 of dumping so far. So far so good other than my maniac trainer who drives ridiculously aggressive. Did 2 dumps today for 8 and a half hours which was nice. I think I'll most likely stay here for a little while. I like that the work is constant at times and there is no rush or staring at my eld watching my minutes to down.

Will post back in a week of doing solo dumps without a trainer.

Wow those are real low wages. Like I make close to $600 a day doing local log hauling, and this is way less stressful than GTA local would be... Literally the easiest trucking job I've ever had. Home nightly and weekends off too.

you’re extremely lucky to have that job my dad who owns his own dump truck hauling asphalt isnt making much more then that gross . before taking off taxes ,fuel and what not . one big reason he just sold the truck he’s making di$k all . As far as dealing with gta traffic i’m paid by the hr and could careless if i spend my whole shift sitting in traffic because i’m still getting paid

You are lucky that some ####### hasn't come along and slashed the rate.

Do you really think $600 a day local company jobs with weekends off are really that common .News flash they are not especially if it’s a local driving gig . I now for a fact that right now some owner ops running local aren’t making much more then that . If your a company guy making $600 a day you are very lucky to have it because they are not on every corner especially the gta
