Thanks for your input. I was always wary of telling dispatch where I liked to go and where I didn't like to go. I told them at the start I liked the Upper Midwest and whether by coincidence or not, I didn't see the Upper Midwest for a good month after that (and we had regular lanes going through that region lol). After that I was always afraid they would use it against me and I'de never see the regions/places that I liked ever again, so I just shut my mouth lol. Guess it's different at FCC, good to hear.cdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy and runningman0661 Thank this.

Heck, I get annoyed on the weeks when I get less than 3,000, and I'm Regional at home on weekends LOLcdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy, runningman0661 and 1 other person Thank this.

Most weeks I’m in the 3400 range, but this week is a clinker about 1900 because I needed time off. Thus the average….BigR, MidWest_MacDaddy and BeHereNow97 Thank this.

Dang I wish I was getting those miles a week being OTR ! I am not being dispatched where my hours are being utilized to the max like that and given to opportunity to do a reset like I have asked numerous times to get rest and a fresh 70. Going 2-4 months straight on recap with out a day off does more then burn a person out and causes 1-2500 a week miles a week. When I did day cab for a year I average 600 miles a day and had motels along my dedicated account route that I could use if I got low on hours and was home every weekenddwells40 Thanks this.

I don't mean to tell a man how to do is business, but if you're not happy with your miles /schedule, speak up and let your DM know. Tell him you want a restart every week if that's what you are wanting, that isn't too much to ask. If need be just burn your 70 and force the issue. It may very well be if you'd run that way that long they might just think you are happy with it and this is the schedule you wantcdavis188, MidWest_MacDaddy, runningman0661 and 1 other person Thank this.

Exactly. If I can get myself into some kind of a rhythm, where I can run 4-6hrs at a stretch, I usually burn my drive time up and still have an hour or more on my 14. If I stop short, it's usually because I am trying to time my passage through Chicago or some other time suck. I would rather have a short day than risk getting caught up in that #### show near Gary, IN. By the end of the week, I am usually in a position where I get my 34 in before I get anything useful from recap. (Or I get recap hours at midnight, but all 70 at 0100) I tend to drive either overnight, or start around 0200-0300.
