Red grease (High temperature) is fine for everything in the summer, I wouldn't want it in the slack adjusters in the winter. Maybe some green or blue grease in the winter.

My favorite grease is the one that gets all over me. That's how I know it's good. I judge grease by ruined clothing, ruined shoes and ruined carpet.

My favorite though is when I drop a new tube and it explodes everywhere before I get it in the gun. The tube deforms and you can no longer use it (except for slopping it on the 5th wheel). These are the best days.

Speaking of which that Lucas 5th wheel lube was at the door when I got home today. I ordered it from Walmart.com and it came in an Advanced Auto Parts box with a 'thank you' card from them in the box. Who knows.

I'll report back next week how well it works and how many clothes were lost.

Make sure that bottle never tips on it's side. Even a new unopened bottle will leak past the seal and lid to make a nasty mess.
You only let that happen once!

    Sage advice right there.

A tiny bit of carelessness, and you're gonna be like the proverbial tar baby. The more you try to avoid it, the more you're gonna get on you.
