Theres only 1 scale on my route and its almost always closed unless the blowhard dot guy wants to mess with the log trucks and chip trucks then he opens it. I would have to count but i think i am coming up on 100 loads of these rocks in the last 2 years. Most of them are 80-85k. But i am legal in montana to 86k if im legal on my axles which is the problem here. But really not a big deal, just pulls like a sick dog up the hills.

If it’s just a 48ft trailer you can probably only bridge 84k gross. I think you need to be at least a 50 or 51ft with the axles back to bridge 86k. I know I could go 86 with my 52ft spread cattle trailer.

You may be right i would have to check the chart again . i know they measured me out at the scales at the junction to seely lake last year . i was somewhere around 84 -85 said i was good to go. Never got a overweight ticket up here before, even crossing at 88k and 91k . May of just got lucky tho

I don’t. Cliff never had his trucks aligned. The mechanics would set the toe at our shop and then tires would get moved around between trucks if they were wearing funny.
