Was wondering if anyone has run to Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. or near it. Have a delivery there and was wondering what is a good route. The two I’ve seen are I95S to I10W straight across or I81S to I40, I75, I24, I59, I459, I65 and so on. Both are close in miles and time. I95 to I10 seem more direct. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks

Both options are good ways for a truck. I prefer to stay off I-81 as the hills & valleys guarantee a steel wall of 4-wheelers in the left lane and little or no ability to pass. However, I would guess traffic on I-95 would be heavier for longer. But not switching interstates suggests less room for driver mistake.

I run out of Panama City. And yes, I95 to I 10. It’s only a few miles further but half the headaches.

    Truckersheldan Thanks this.

Run I 10 to exit 56. Go south straight to Ft. Walton.
