That place can be a pain though, the last time I had an appointment, they had me drop it, and the time before that, it was an "any time today" delivery. Took em three and a half hours to live unload it.

Hi guys. I'm new to the thread. I applied to come on board what should I expect. Do you have long runs to the west coast and back?
-
Can you pick your own lanes to run pretty much or is it forced dispach? Who's the best dispachers? Your dry van only I assume which is cool. What kind of elds devices do you use? What about paperwork is it an app or transflow?

Start at the 1st page and all your questions can be answered

I drive where they send me so not sure about picking your own lanes but I live east of I95 so they keep me East and southeast. I think it depends a lot on where you live and how often you want to get home.
I haven’t heard a bad word about any of the DMs or the Planners so I guess they are all the best.
We have a flatbed division too.
we have QualComm in the trucks. They give us a scanner to use to submit paperwork but I use the Transflo App to submit my paperwork.
Did you apply for a Regional Position or OTR?
When do you go to Orientation? -
Judging from the questions he asked it sure doesn't seem like he did his homework before applying

Sort of what I was thinking. These are the things you should know before starting but maybe he is young and did not know.cdavis188, mushroom1464, BigR and 2 others Thank this. -
I appreciate it man. Been driving for 22 years, just wanted to confirm from some of the drivers what I've been told. I heard starting pay is dicey depending on your app etc. Wonder what the top guys are getting coming in. I feel like I'm worth 65 coming in with no tickets or accidents. Seem like great people over there.
