That’s kind of where I’m sitting at as far as not leaving pd. It’s a busy route though. 20-28 stops a day. So it keeps you moving.

How far away do you run?
-
Only 20 miles away. I always joke that I actually drive more miles to work and back than I do at work. It’s true ha
-
Me and several others got new trucks at roughly the same time.
Mine has 3 times the mileage as theirs.
-
I liked my long runs way back then. Especially when I liked getting my overtime. Now days I like my 40-45 hours. So the short but busy route suits me well.MACK E-6 Thanks this.

Does anyone know the details of a shoot out that happened at a yrc terminal couple days ago somewhere in Tennessee.
MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
From another forum:

Wow…

All of that because basically a junior driver got to drive a faster truck that day?
How childish.
Cardfan89 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
That 5 mph makes a difference!

On today’s episode of “As the Steering Wheel Turns”, I heard something interesting recently that pretty much confirms what I suspected for years.
Driver’s wife runs day care at home during the day. Dispatcher is raising grandchild because dispatcher’s son is incapable of it. Driver’s wife babysits dispatcher’s grandchild. Driver is now exempt from doing pickups, and dispatcher looks the other way when driver milks the clock.
Don’t you love office politics?
misterG, The Shadow and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
