What boots do you wear while working?

Stay away from boots with lace hooks; they can kill you. I was lucky and only broke my wrist from the fall. Tons of articles and personal experiences about their dangers on Google.

 

I know exactly what you're talking about. Other lace hooks other boot. Ate #### many times over that, luckily never hurt myself bad. One pair of those was enough. Crimped them all shut, and just didn't lace the top.

 

I get whatever cheap boots have the required oil resistant soles + steel or composite toe THEN I rip out the insoles, replace them with Superfeet insoles and I wear Darn Tough fully cushioned socks...usually the Steely models. Been doing this for many years and my feet, ankles & knees feel wonderful.

 

Yeah, happens quick and out of the blue. Before you know it, you're on your face.

 

I never wear shoes......
