About 5 yrs ago a wheel loader backed in front of my neighbors mint condition ‘99 9900. Smashed the front end all up. They gave him a ridiculously low amount and wrote it off. He didn’t buy it back because nobody would insure it.

Either way, I miss them. In old days; forklift repair 14 years, we would buy a kit, use what was needed (few parts-mostly gaskets), pigeon hole the remains. Next job, same. But; after a while, we had enough parts to make a fix or two with only cutting our own gaskets. A quantity of various paper, cork, asbestos, and rubber material sent many jobs out the door before week end and billing in mail. Invoiced as Repaired , Labor- ? hours , Parts-That kit #. Gave my gasket cutting die set to a former employee three months ago while emptying my Storage Max unit.D.Tibbitt, austinmike, 77fib77 and 2 others Thank this. -
