Yep, when you grow up poor you learn to take care of stuff lol. Many times I got Christmas gifts in a brown paper grocery bag with the top rolled down, and was absolutely tickled to get it. My old thermos has been by me side for many miles, and probably older than many reading this......

 

My W9 is a glider. I bought it as an old truck is why I built it from the ground up before putting it out on the road lol. You’re correct, when it’s payed for it will be ready to rebuild again unless he takes exceptional care of it....

Was he already in a cell block? Assuming you have general population if you act up you go to the cell block with a bunk bed for 2 instead of a whole tier with rows of beds... not sure why they didn’t ship him out either

Went and got the Caterpillar 3406B for the 83 K100 aerodyne. Now to get it fully gone through with new parts and machine work, not sure how long it will take but it’s moving forward. Engine came out of a R model Mack, but it appears it may have been in a Ford at one time....
