I don't know how to do the multiple QUOTE thing.

That was the boy's truck...93 year old fella for some reason thought his old jeep could get across the intersection before the big truck got there. Kid locked them up but still hit him right at the window post passenger side.....jeep flew over hitting a parked car that landed against a diesel pump post.

Jason was following him and managed to get stopped and blocked the highway. The kid jumped out and after he figured out where the old fellor landed went and checked on him. Said he was OK but they took him in the ambulance.

That light pole kept the truck from rolling. Truck's junk.....Trailer he thinks is ok except for a busted rub rail.

I had been talking to him on and off all morning.... I was head to northwest Iowa and he was going to Bethany to reload. I'd lost his call in the hills and when he called me back he said " dad I just totalled my truck" and sent me that picture.

Thank god for angels and he was able to come home to his wife and three little girls.

Ever have someone who you don’t want to talk to try to engage you in conversation? Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting in the patio of the pub like I normally do. Perfect weather, mid 70s with a slight breeze and blue skies.

I am sitting at a table with Old Bob, the usual Viet Nam type, quiet, speaks few words, tough ol b@stard. Some middle aged hippie comes outdoors, sees Hades, looks at me and asks if that’s my bike. My dumb polite arse answers. And hippie takes that as an okay to sit down and attempt to engage me and Old Bob in a conversation about vaccines. I’m sorry, Bob…this was my fault.

Typical califoolian that hated living in California but wants every other place to be like California. He’s shocked that Bob opted against the vaccine. “The stats don’t lie!” (Sorry Bob. This was my fault.)

I sit in silence. Hippie tells me he assumes that I don’t like him. “I wonder if you were murdered if your death certificate would state that you died from complications to COVID.”

I am sorry Bob. This was my fault.

We're sure sorry to see this. Glad everyone is ok though. Hopefully he handles it ok, something like that can shake a person up pretty bad.

That sucks. I tend to avoid such complications by using my #### off face, which I have engaged about 90% of the time. If that doesn't work, the minute I speak usually does. I tend to stick with what works for me. I'm very friendly to those I choose to engage. However, the vast majority of people these days, I just have nothing I really want to say......that would be considered polite conversation. Mostly for reasons you mentioned.

I am ugly. I am so ugly that butchy lesbians act feminine. I’m so ugly that when I smile, my face hurts.

I get really ugly when some punk I don’t know decides that he knows what’s best for me. Do you. I will do me. Live your life and keep living.

Same thing with a lot of mack dealers. They might have 1 tech on that can work on the E-7 E-tech. The older 91-97s forget about Lol

Finding a good service shop is like finding the lost city of Atlantis.
Most think it was a myth, that it really never existed.

Isn't that the truth. My mechanic is in his mid sixties and I'm not looking forward to the day he retires.
