Yea you're crazy bcuz your desire for ever increasing safety, in an age where we already live like kings compared to our ancestors, has the effect of interfering with somethin as basic as how I want to keep my hair!

If you don't have bodily autonomy, whuchu really got, end of the day?

Those 50 strands will grow back.
If this is all you have to worry about, than you have no worries at all.
Your biggest worries are your health, safety, work record, job security, pay & benefits, working well with your bosses & co-workers, along with the welfare of your family.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

I do understand what you are saying & where you are coming from.

The issue here is that the D.O.T. has mandated to ALL trucking companies that ALL of their truck drivers must be drug free at ALL times.

Many companies, outside of trucking & the transportation industry, also require stringent drug testing. It is very much a requirement in so much of the workforce.

What about those who are bald? They then require hair from other parts of the body, pretty embarrassing if you ask me. If a pee test, which is invasive enough, isn't enough proof that I'm clean then I don't need to work for X company.

It would not surprise me if more tests become the norm. One that I can immediately think of would be a blood test. This would test for drugs and a whole host of other diseases that could potentially impair driving.
A really thorough trucking company could potentially end up requiring 3 tests: urination, hair follicle samples, and the blood test.

How is shaving hair off your arm invasive. If you cant pass then dont drive. Go find a couch to get stoned in, what we dont need is stoners on the highway.

I’m bald and I couldn’t give less of a ####, they can take it from your hands or legs. You already get your privates touched by the doc for hernia test, just a part of life.

I personally think it’s a good thing that they do hair follicle, helps limit the pool of drivers even further.

When one comes right down to it, people should be concerned about keeping their bodies totally drug free, NOT the procedure used to test for and detect drugs.

lol I have zero respect for you guys. Enjoy the anal swabs for covid. I've never done drugs, won't go somewhere where they want hair tests.
