Are you home? If so, how'd you get there? I bet you're tossing back a few longnecks after that ordeal huh?

Top notch for sure. When they issued me my fuel cards and box of duct tape it wasn't the cheap stuff.

Most Canadian trucks ARE top notch, just as American trucks. Mexican trucks are a much different story for sure. Let's not assume that when we see a couple of heaps out on the road that all trucks are like that ok?

That's pretty much the impression that I'm getting, the more I read about Arrow - they'd pretty much used up all their lines of credit, and they weren't going to get any additional credit.

I've never had any dealing with Freightliner/Mercedes-Benz Finance - I wonder how many months a company would have to be in arrears to them for F/M-B to begin repossessing equipment?

Hillbilly Highway made a good point above - Arrow didn't just wake up Monday morning, and decide to play the modern-day version Ebenezer Scrooge for Christmas 2009. IMHO - It's like a volcano that's been getting ready to blow for quite some time, and it finally erupted.

I think you both are right...the man ultimately in charge ran it to the end with NO intention of making a planned shutdown.....and thus skirted around the 60 day notice by creating a situation of fiscal collapse ......running the machine till it can't run no more basically and in so doing totally divesting the mechanics that make the machine run.....
