I run a Stryker and have for a few years
So far it’s been good
Have done some business with Walcott and no issues
Now
Reviews of any kind need to be analyzed and look at why some are negative
Did they have to wait too long for assistance?
Was it too cold outside or too hot in their establishment?
I love it when I read negative reviews say about a restaurant
They go on and on how horrible the shrimp, lobster, or oysters were only to find out in their post that they don’t even like seafoodKilgore0237 Thanks this. -
during my time, i did indeed buy a radio from them, and had the option at the time of purchase, to have them "tune" the radio for a few dollars more, but i declined.
never a bad experience with them, on my part.Kilgore0237 and GYPSY65 Thank this. -
look no matter what, get an external SWR meter and use that. the internal ones are OK but not the best.Kilgore0237 and buddyd157 Thank this.

absolutely on the reviews, spot on!
Only concern was the The alignment procedure is part of the conversion. We do not over peak the radio, and proximity to others won't be affected. I clearly don’t know much about cbs at this point but just wanted a good quality radio that sounds good. There isn’t many shops close by in my area, I definitely should’ve reached prior but you know that kid in a candy store impulse, guilty as charged.
thanks for the feedback, shipped fast and was fast to respond on my questions prior to even a purchase. They gave advice and offered for me to call with any setup questions so the customer service has been great so far!GYPSY65 Thanks this. -
Thank you for the feedback, I hope I have good luck with it.buddyd157 Thanks this.

Got it, I got a buddy who has a big ole bulky one from his dads hay day in the 80s or early 90s. Although, I might need a new one, any recommendations or do you think the ole one could be a trusty?

I had my frequency meter light replaced there, they did a good job and lots of drivers were coming in for work. Seemed good to me for a shop, not many around these days.
Kilgore0237 Thanks this. -
I bought one radio from them. They wanted more to do the conversion than I wanted to pay, especially knowing it was easy to do, and I could do it myself. They told me the warranty would be voided if I didn’t let them do it. I wont be back. Went to Clay’s for the next one.
