2016 Freightliner automatic, my transmission is kicking out and going to Nuetral putting me on the side of the road every day from 4:30 - 6:30 pm when the outside ambient temp is above 94 degrees. I am not running hot or having any radiator issues.
Anyone know how to fix this Detroit Tranny issue or can I install a 13 speed into this DD15?

I did a transmission service with new fluid 4 weeks ago. That didn't change anything. I can drive this truck all night with no issues, around 4:30 pm it goes to Nuetral, only when the day temperature is above 93. If it's raining or over cast it does not happen. I flushed the radiator 9 months ago.

Look in this industry you can either laugh or cry....i was just trying to make you laugh at the situation....it doesn't sound like a serious issue just something computer related or sensors.....

You can, but you'll need to change the parameters in the CPC and MCM. The drive shafts are probably not the same length, you'll need a clutch pedal with a master and slave cylinder, a new clutch and possibly a flywheel. It will probably be faster and cheaper to get the DT12 fixed. Their fairly reliable for being an automated trans.
