Very true. That's another thing I need to keep my eyes open for. A good shop other than the Freightliner dealership that is in my area.

If you go to the same shop they also begin to know your truck and it’s little quirks
Each time you go somewhere else then they are starting to guess again from the beginning

We do the same when going to nicer restaurants
We try to get the same server and eventually they begin to know your likes or dislikes
We always make a point of telling the manager if we have had great service
By doing so there have been times when we sat down that our drinks where already at the table and on the house or server as they knew our routine

A little more than a few screws missing in a panel...

Well nobody touches my truck ever, but I brought it in for a three axle alignment and I will never ever in my life do it again. I will align it myself and they can f themselves.

I was going down the road and I felt some kind of weird vibration from the Rears. I couldn't understand it because my whole suspension is all brand new and I put all brand new grade 8 bolts all around and all I did was take it to them to shim it so they could get the right adjustment.

Well the effing moron took the bolts out of the airliner suspension to put the shims in and he never used a torque wrench to tighten them up. I got under the truck to see what was going on and on The Airliner suspension one of the bolts was completely gone that holds the rears to the hanger and the other one was so loose it was ready to break.

If I would not have stopped and inspected my truck my rears would have broke out right off of the hangers and that would have been the end of it.

So of course I went and bought all brand new bolts all over again and put them in and torqued them in myself with my own two hands with my own torque wrench and now my truck rolls down the road like it's supposed to.

F those morons. Don't trust any of those lousy bums.

And when you find out they screwed up, you’re neither home, or anywhere near the shop. Stuck on your Own. Counting on yourself. Sometimes it’s best to count on yourself in the first place. Knowing it’s done right. Some Bull work is best done by a Shop. Good Mechanic, Proper tools. Quick Work. Priceless.

lol, exactly. Everyone's like you should be making much more but they're spending weeks out where I'm home every night and the weekends.

I don't mind being out a night or two a week so the Laredo deal would be possible. Go out spend the night and come back kind of deal but the particular dispatcher of the division of the company I work for doesn't like to work for brokers and he doesn't have any contract freight that runs out there that I know of, but I'm going to look at the load board and check it out anyways. If I come across something that looks good I bet he would consider it.
