I learned that if possible when the blizzard strikes...avoid rest areas and truck stops. They seem to plow an entry, but egress is well...at your own risk. Couple this with some really stupid players that pretend to be professional drivers...well you can see this coming.
Always have an out...oh sound like the Smith system?

A little rash on my part. When you utilize the truck stop or rest area... don't place yourself in jepeardy. There are safe havens, but beware. -
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave
with the intention of arriving safely
in an attractive and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
a good Kentucky bourbon in one hand,
chocolate in the other,
body thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and screaming
WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE !!! -
And bounce your last check to the IRS
LADYANDTHETRAMP Thanks this. -
Hi all I was a little worried about going with Central Refrigerated when I first started reading on the forums. Glad I came by here and read through this thread. It seems as though(as long as I don't lease from them) that they will be a decent company to at least start out in and get a year or two under my belt.

Since you are just starting out you never had the Benefits they took from company drivers already and what you never had you don't miss!
Get in there do your year and start looking for a better company. All companies seem to screw ya these days , you just have to look around for one that doesn't screw ya to bad lol. -
To have a ####tail or not? That is the question of the night!

As long as you don't stop with oe and have one for me, knock yourself out.

Crap just realized my sister finished off my rum the other night!!!!!!! And I had really talked myself into one. Guess I'll have to hit my dad's bottle of whiskey. I will have one for you and who ever else may need me to drink one for them. I will not discriminate against anyone just let me know who needs one!!!!!!!!!
